Why You Should Attend This Summit:

The Logistics & Materiel Readiness Strategic Plan released by the DoD in October 2021 laid out a plan for the delivering of sustainable logistics to support DoD mission requirements, as well as offered a strategy towards helping to transform global logistics to deliver readiness and lethality to the Warfighter. The 2022 Assured Logistics Summit will focus on enhancing the resilience and efficiency of the Military supply chain. Today’s armed services and defense agencies are faced with continued and globally dispersed operations. The necessity for materiel readiness and reliable logistics support are critical to maintaining the effectiveness and safety of our Armed Forces.

This event will go into detail on how with the continued shift to Strategic Competition, the US military will no longer be able to move material and people uncontested across the globe. If a large-scale conflict breaks out the current supply chain will be strained to produce and move the supplies to the point of need in a timely manner. Senior leaders will offer perspective to attendees on the various ways U.S. infrastructure and logistical capabilities will need to be modernized in order to meet the growing challenges and threats of the times. This forum will also detail current/future joint DoD and industry efforts to ensure that US power can be projected globally, and US forces will have the supplies needed to defeat any potential adversary. Lastly, it will feature a panel of senior experts across military/industry that will discuss the future of 5G & Smart Warehouses, which is allowing depots and storage facilities to become more efficient and better at tracking their inventory. This will help the military know what shortages it faces on mission critical supplies, while also increasing readiness for the Joint Force.

DSI’s Assured Logistics Summit will provide a forum to discuss the latest developments in actions and measures taken to secure the nation’s defense logistics. This year’s Summit will foster conversation between relevant stakeholders from the community to discuss how to advance supply and logistical challenges throughout the supply and chain and allow support operations to be conducted across the globe.
